The Coalition participates in several lead prevention events and activities, which include regular meetings and special events like Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention (CLPP) Week, which occurs every October.
CLPP Week
CLPP Week is a national week of lead awareness and education that is celebrated locally with community-specific events. It is commemorated annually during the last full week of every October. Promotional materials may be available in your area. To help community leaders and spokespersons, the Coalition has developed a packet of resources for use by members in communicating with the media and their municipality about the importance of this message.
